The eBay fee math that surprises new sellers
eBay's final value fee applies to the FULL order — item price plus shipping plus sales tax. It also includes a fixed per-order fee ($0.30-$0.40 typically). Sellers who only deduct "13.25%" forget the per-order charge and end up off by 30¢ on every sale.
