Why your Etsy category quietly decides who finds you
Etsy uses your category as a primary filter for browse traffic and category-based ads. A handmade ceramic mug listed under "Home & Living > Kitchen & Dining > Drinkware > Mugs" appears for shoppers browsing mugs; the same item listed under "Home & Living > Home Décor" is invisible to those shoppers.
