What's the byte limit?

250 bytes. ASCII characters = 1 byte each; accented characters or symbols can be 2-3 bytes. Stay under 250 to avoid silent truncation.

Should I include my brand?

No. Amazon already indexes your brand from the Brand field. Repeating it wastes bytes.

Spaces. Amazon parses each space-separated token as a keyword. Commas are treated as part of the word and waste bytes.

Does Amazon index words from my title in backend too?

Title words are already indexed — putting them in backend keywords is a duplicate that Amazon discards.
